Devgarh

Devgarh is a city in the Rajasmand district. The Devgarh Mahal is an important highlight of the city. This stunning palace was built by Rawat Dwarka Dasji in the 17th century. The palace is constructed on a hill top. It offers beautiful views of the surrounding region. The palace was initially built with a purpose to serve as a residence to the royal families but as time passed it was transformed into a heritage hotel. The domes, jharokhas and massive gateways adorn the palace and fascinate the guests. The splendour of the palace is retained in its original form and is intact till date. The age-old traditions are preserved in the Devgarh Palace.
